The General Staff noted that Nevinnomyssk Azot is a critical component of the russian military-industrial complex. Its capacity is more than 1 million tons of ammonia and up to 1.4 million tons of ammonium nitrate, which are used in the production of explosives and ammunition.
"The facility supplies a number of Russian military-industrial complex enterprises on a regular basis and serves as a chemical hub in the system of technical support for military operations," the statement said.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on November 26, the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked the VNIIR-Progress enterprise in Cheboksary, which produces navigation equipment for missiles.
On November 25, satellite images of russian aircraft destroyed on the territory of an aircraft repair plant in Taganrog were published online.
