The counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine has detained two more russian agents in the Kharkiv Region. The offenders worked for the FSB and collected coordinates of the Defense Forces in the Izium sector on the enemy's instructions. This is said in the SSU statement.
The investigation showed that the enemy accomplices were two residents of the district, who acted separately but were "locked in" to a single curator from moscow.
According to the case file, one of the agents is a 56-year-old employee of a local gas compressor station who, under the guise of business trips, recorded the geolocation of military facilities and "leaked" them to the FSB.
He also sent text messages to the curator describing the location of the main transformers of the gas compressor station, on which the russians were preparing air strikes.

Another agent is a 57-year-old driver who delivered food to frontline stores and simultaneously tracked the coordinates of Ukrainian troops' defense positions.
Both offenders sent the collected data via messengers to the resident (head) of the agent group. It turned out to be their fellow villager, who during the temporary occupation of the community left for the aggressor country of russia and works for the russian special service.
The SSU established that he was recruited in russia by an FSB officer, who has already been identified.
According to a plan determined by an enemy intelligence officer, the resident was tasked with forming an intelligence group in the Izium District of the Kharkiv Region.
SSU officers detected the attackers in advance and documented their intelligence activities. At the same time, measures were taken to secure Defense Forces locations in the relevant direction of combat operations.
At the final stage of the special operation, both agents were detained at their places of residence. During the searches, the SSU seized their smartphones, which they used to coordinate their actions with the resident.
SSU investigators informed the detainees of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law by a group of persons).
The offenders are in custody without the right to be released on bail. They face life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
Comprehensive measures are currently being taken to bring to justice the senior agent group and its supervisor.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, an FSB adjuster who directed russian shelling of the city was detained in Kyiv.
