On the night of December 3, oil depots in Tambov and Voronezh Oblasts of russia were hit by drones, causing a fire and damaging fuel tanks. This was reported by the governors of Tambov Oblast Yevgeny Pervishov and Voronezh Oblast Alexander Gusev, and the russian Ministry of Defense.
The governor of Tambov Oblast Yevgeny Pervishov said that the fire at the facility occurred after the debris of a downed drone fell. "Firefighters and law enforcement officials arrived promptly at the scene. All necessary forces and means were involved," he said.
The head of Voronezh Oblast Alexander Gusev confirmed the attack and reported the destruction of four UAVs over the city and two districts of the region. "There are no casualties. In one of the areas, several fuel tanks were slightly damaged as a result of the downed UAV. There was no ignition," he said.
The russian Defense Ministry stated that overnight the air defense allegedly intercepted 102 Ukrainian drones, including 26 over Belgorod, 22 over Bryansk, 21 over Kursk, 16 over Rostov, 7 over Astrakhan, 6 over Saratov and 4 over Voronezh Oblasts.
