The local Jewish community emphasizes that they are shocked by another act of destruction and will do everything necessary to restore the site and preserve the memory of the people buried there. Kharkiv Rabbi Moshe Moskowitz has already visited the site to assess the consequences and offer a prayer.

The Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine notes that almost four years of full-scale war have significantly affected Kharkiv and its Jewish community. During this time, a Jewish kindergarten and school, a yeshiva on Chebotarska Street, the territory of Drobytskyi Yar, the windows of the Synagogue, the rabbi's house, and the homes of community members were damaged. There were also deaths among the parishioners.
