Against the backdrop of the russian federation's new massive strike on Ukraine, Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha told how the Kremlin used the visit of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to Moscow.
The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry wrote about this on his page on the social network X.
Sybiha noted that Ukraine had a difficult night, as russia launched dozens of cruise and ballistic missiles and more than 500 drones at residential buildings, energy networks and critical infrastructure.
"While everyone is discussing the points of the peace plans, russia continues to implement its "military plan", which consists of two points: to kill and to destroy," he wrote.
The minister drew attention to the fact that the Kremlin ruler vladimir putin "once again used Viktor Orban as an accomplice in his terror."
Sybiha recalled that in the summer of 2024, Orban's visit to Moscow was followed by a russian strike on the Ukrainian children's hospital Okhmatdyt.
"This time, a massive russian attack on the Ukrainian capital followed immediately after Orban's visit and empty words about "peace". Putin is simply using such politicians as actors in his bloody play," he emphasized.
Sybiha added that putin wants to continue the war at any cost. At the same time, he emphasized that the international community has the means to make this price unbearable for him.
"We call for additional support for Ukraine's defense and resilience, additional tough sanctions on russia, and a swift decision that will allow for the full use of frozen russian assets. Strength, unity, and pressure on Moscow remain crucial to advancing peace efforts and forcing russia to end the war," he concluded.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of November 29, russia carried out another massive combined attack on Ukraine.
