US President Donald Trump announced the annulment of all decrees and documents signed by his predecessor Joe Biden using an automatic signature device (autopen).
He posted the corresponding statement on his social network Truth Social.
"Any document signed by Sleepy Joe Biden using an autopen, which is approximately 92% of all documents, is truly null and void," Trump said, emphasizing that the use of an autopen is possible only with the "special permission of the President of the United States."
He also stated that Biden was surrounded by "radical left-wing lunatics" who "took away his presidency" and "illegally" signed documents for the head of state.
"Joe Biden was not involved in the process of using an autopen, and if he claims the opposite, he will be charged with perjury," Trump stressed.
Other US presidents, including Barack Obama, have used the autopen, most notably in pardons and commutations at the end of Biden's presidency. Biden himself has previously explained that he approved the decisions verbally, while his aides used the autopen because of the large amount of paperwork.
