The Ministries of Defense of Ukraine and Great Britain have signed a license agreement for the production of the Ukrainian Octopus interceptor drone. This was reported by Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal on Facebook.
"This is a historical precedent and the next important step that will allow the production of Ukrainian interceptors in Great Britain, which have proven their effectiveness in the fight against Shaheds," he wrote.
According to him, mass production of interceptors is planned, which could reach several thousand per month. The manufactured means will be transferred to Ukraine to strengthen the protection of our sky.
Recall that earlier the Business Insider publication wrote that Ukrainian engineers have developed inexpensive interceptors based on quadcopters, which are already effectively shooting down russian strike drones - and this simple, mass technology is changing approaches to air defense.
