In dangerous Kherson neighborhood Korabel 200 people still live without electricity and gas - Regional Military Administration

About 200 residents of the Kherson neighborhood Korabel still live without electricity and gas, as critical infrastructure cannot be restored. This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

The district is under enemy fire every day, which creates a constant threat to the lives of repair crews and makes restoration work extremely difficult.

Prokudin called Korabel one of the most dangerous areas of the city, emphasizing that explosions are constantly heard here, and russian drones are circling in the sky.

Together with the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Yaroslav Shanko, he held a meeting with local residents to discuss the current situation in detail and identify the most urgent problems that require immediate resolution.

During the meeting, the residents emphasized that they are most concerned about the issue of restoring electricity supply. In response, Prokudin explained that the seriously damaged equipment is currently impossible to repair due to constant shelling: sending specialists to this area actually means exposing them to a direct hit. At the same time, the head of the Regional Military Administration assured that the authorities are considering all possible ways to restore power and are actively working to find the necessary solutions.

The situation is further complicated by the lack of gas supply, which is also impossible to restore due to continuous enemy attacks. The meeting discussed specific measures to help residents survive the winter, in particular, the delivery of fuel, powerful generators and other necessary equipment. In addition, the issues of the need for humanitarian aid, medicines and the need to increase the hours of water supply to the neighborhood were raised.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in Kherson, the facts of the scattering of anti-personnel mines "petals" (PFM-1) by russian forces are again being recorded.
