Russian propagandists are actively spreading another fake on the Internet about the alleged use of chemical weapons by the Ukrainian military. This is stated in the message of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD).
In particular, enemy resources are spreading messages that "a secret cache of chemical substances has been discovered" near Pokrovsk. At the same time, a video recording is being spread that is supposed to confirm the truthfulness of these accusations.
The CCD emphasizes that the distribution of such "video evidence" is a typical technique of russian propaganda. In fact, the video does not contain any evidence. It is impossible to establish from it either the place and time of filming, or the contents and ownership of the test tubes that are presented as "chemical poisonous substances of the Armed Forces of Ukraine." This is another disinformation of the enemy that has nothing to do with reality.
"Previously, the russians have repeatedly spread such fakes. Instead, it is the russian army that uses banned chemical substances in the war against Ukraine. Such cases have been repeatedly recorded and have become the basis for the introduction of international sanctions against the russian federation," the Center emphasized.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Center warned about AIs generated "military" that talk about a "catastrophic situation at the front."
