US President Donald Trump on Sunday criticized the Ukrainian authorities and his predecessor Joe Biden, accusing them of allowing russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. He reported this on Truth Social.
The US President also emphasized that the war "is a losing one for everyone," especially for the millions of people who so senselessly died," and expressed Ukraine's ingratitude for its efforts.
"Ukraine ‘leadership’ has expressed zero gratitude for our efforts, and Europe continues to buy oil from Russia. The USA continues to sell massive amounts of weapons to NATO, for distribution to Ukraine," Trump said.
Trump also noted that the United States continues to sell "huge volumes of weapons" to NATO countries, after which they are sent to Ukraine.
He also believes that the war could have been avoided. According to him, “The war between Russia and Ukraine is a violent and terrible one that, with strong and proper US and Ukrainian leadership, would have never happened.”
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on November 21, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov said that work on the peace plan continues, Ukraine is carefully studying the proposals of its American partners on the peace plan, expecting the same correct attitude to the Ukrainian position, and media reports about the alleged "approval" or "removal of points" have nothing to do with reality.
According to Politico, the administration of US President Donald Trump expects to reach a framework agreement on peace in Ukraine by the end of November.
