Since the beginning of the day, 112 combat clashes took place at the frontline. Our defenders are stopping the enemy, holding the line and destroying the plans of the russians.
This is stated in the text of the operational update by the Command of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, posted on the official Facebook page of the military department.
During the day, the enemy from the territory of the russian federation fired artillery shells at the areas of Bobylivka, Kucherivka, Shalyhine, Malushyne, Bila Bereza, Koreniok, Utskove in the Sumy Region.
On the North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, Ukrainian defenders repelled eleven attacks of the invaders, three firefights are ongoing. The enemy carried out one air strike, dropped three guided aerial bombs and fired 62 times, including two times from multiple launch rocket systems.
On the South-Slobozhanshchyna axis, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled one enemy attack since the beginning of the day, and another combat clash is ongoing. The enemy is attacking near Vovchansk.
On the Kupiansk axis, our troops successfully stopped four hostile attacks in the areas of Pishchane, Petropavlivka and Kupiansk. Two more combat clashes are still ongoing.
Two combat clashes took place on the Liman saxisctor near Novoselivka.
On the Sloviansk axis, russian proxies attempted to advance seven times to Ukrainian troops' positions in the vicinity of Serebrianka and Dronivka. Ukrainian defense forces stopped six enemy attacks, one combat clash is still ongoing.
On the Kramatorsk axis, one combat clash is currently taking place in the vicinity of Kostiantynivka.
On the Kostyantynivka axis, the militants attacked nine times in the vicinity of Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, Shcherbynivka, Yablunivka and in the direction of Mykolaipillia. One combat clash is currently underway.
On the Pokrovsk axis, 21 times over the last day, clashes of varying intensity started near the localities of Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Myrnohrad, Nykanorivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novopidhorodnie, Molodetske, Dachne and Filiia. Two firefights are still ongoing.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, the aggressor tried to advance 13 times in the areas of Sosnivka, Verbove, Pryvilne, Berezove, Stepove, Krasnohirske and Zlahoda. Currently, the Defense Forces are fighting in two locations.
On the Huliaipole axis, Ukrainian troops repelled thirteen attacks by the occupants near Yablukove, Zatyshshia, Varvarivka, Pryluky, Huliaipole, Chervone, Malynivka and Vysoke. Two more combat clashes are still ongoing. Varvarivka came under an air strike.
On the Orikhiv axis, our defenders stopped the enemy from advancing to the positions of our units in the vicinity of Mala Tokmachka.
On the Dnieper axis, the enemy tried three times to approach the positions of our defenders in the direction of the Antonivskyi bridge, but the Defense Forces successfully stopped the enemy's attempts.
Ukrainian troops are depleting the enemy along the entire front line and in the rear.
