Farmers left to thresh only 12% of area sown with grain crops

As of November 21, Ukraine has already harvested 50,928,800 tons of grain crops on an area of ​​10,228,700 hectares and threshed 88% of the area sown with these crops.

This is announced in a statement by the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In particular, the following were harvested: wheat - 22,960,200 tons on an area of ​​5,051,600 hectares; barley - 5,419,100 tons on an area of ​​1,360,900 hectares; peas – 672,500 tons on an area of ​​275,100 hectares and corn - 20,836,000 tons on an area of ​​3,118,400 hectares, which is 71% of the sown area.

896,500 tons of other grains and legumes were harvested on an area of ​​327,600 hectares.

Among the leaders of the harvest, in particular: Chernihiv Region - 4,572,880 tons from an area of ​​637,900 hectares; Khmelnytskyi Region - 4,889,100 tons from an area of ​​574,700 hectares; Vinnytsia Region - 4,260,600 tons from an area of ​​679,300 hectares and Odesa Region - 4,061,300 tons from an area of ​​1,201,200 hectares.

As of November 21, 17,049,700 tons of oilseeds have been harvested.

In particular: sunflower - 9,010,000 tons on an area of ​​4,794,900 hectares; soybean - 4,722,900 tons on an area of ​​1,989,000 hectares and rapeseed - 3,316,700 tons on an area of ​​1,260,200 hectares.

In general, sunflower has been harvested from 92% of the sown areas, soybean - 96%, rapeseed harvesting is complete.

9,963,100 tons of sugar beets have already been harvested on an area of ​​186,600 hectares, which is 94% of the sown areas.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, as of November 14, 47,936,500 tons of grain crops have already been harvested in Ukraine on an area of ​​9,825,600 hectares.
