Search and rescue operations are continuing in Ternopil for the third day after a russian missile strike that destroyed part of a high-rise building. So far, 28 people have been killed.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Rescuers continue to clear the rubble throughout the area of destruction - currently working at the level of 5-6 floors, examining every meter manually, with tools and equipment.
As of 7:00 am, rescuers have removed about 638 tons of construction debris. 181 State Emergency Service employees and 52 pieces of equipment are involved in the elimination of the consequences.
The tragedy claimed the lives of at least 28 people, including three children. 94 people were injured, including 18 children.
46 people were rescued, including seven children.
There is still no contact with 16 people.
The rescue operation continues.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the military of the aggressor country of russia launched 48 missiles and more than 470 drones of various types into Ukraine on the night and morning of November 19. As a result of the massive enemy attack, there are killed and wounded, as well as significant destruction and damage. One of the missiles flew into a multi-story building, destroying the upper floors.
Later, it turned out that on the morning of November 19, russian Kh-101 cruise missiles launched from strategic aircraft hit apartment buildings in Ternopil.
