After a russian missile strike on a residential building in Ternopil, 26 people, including three children, went missing. Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko has reported this on Telegram.

Rescuers and police, he said, will work in Ternopil at the sites around the clock.

"There is a lot of work ahead. The main thing is to find everyone who may be under the rubble. As of this evening, there are reports of 26 missing people in the destroyed building. Three of them are children. We are searching for them," noted Klymenko.

He also said that there is not a single surviving apartment in the building, where two entrances burned down. According to the minister, the flames engulfed the building instantly with a powerful fire wave. People tried to jump out of the windows, which is why rescuers had to evacuate them using high-altitude equipment.
