Russian strikes damaged energy infrastructure in the Chernihiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv Regions. Repair and restoration works are underway at all damaged facilities.
The press service of the Ministry of Energy reported this in a statement.
Today, hourly power outages and power restrictions for industrial consumers and businesses are in effect from 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. in all regions of Ukraine. Current schedules are available on the official websites of regional distribution system operators.
Consumers are urged to use electricity rationally, especially during peak consumption hours in the morning and evening, to reduce the load on the power system.
As a reminder, today, on November 20, new power outage schedules will be introduced in the capital - the duration of blackouts will vary from six to 18 hours depending on the queue.
The restrictions come after a large-scale combined russian attack on November 19: the enemy used 48 missiles and 476 drones of various types, which forced the introduction of emergency blackouts in several regions.
