Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov plans to return to Ukraine from a business trip on November 20. Umerov's spokeswoman Diana Davitian said this in a comment to Ukrainska Pravda
Umerov's representative told the publication that the NSDC Secretary's business trip is scheduled "until November 19 inclusive." When asked by UP if this meant that he would be home on November 20, the spokeswoman said yes.
Earlier, the sources of the publication reported that Umerov arrived in Florida (US) on November 16. Then the opinions of the interlocutors of the publication were divided.
"Some believed that Umerov came to visit his family, which lives in this state. Others argued that he was to meet with representatives of the US Presidential Administration of Donald Trump. However, the question remained open whether and when the former Defense Minister and current Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council plans to return home," the journalists noted.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in recent days, information has been spreading online that Rustem Umerov allegedly went abroad and refuses to return to Ukraine. The Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council stated that this information is not true.
