AMCU allows AFINA-GROUP to buy Vinnytsiapobutkhim

The Antimonopoly Committee at a meeting on November 13 gave permission to the limited liability company AFINA-GROUP to acquire 100% of the shares of Vinnytsiapobutkhim PJSC.

This is said in a statement by the Antimonopoly Committee, according to the Ukrainian News agency.

"Afina-Group LLC has been granted permission to acquire control over Vinnytsiapobutkhim PJSC," the statement said.

The application was submitted to the committee on September 29, 2025.

The beneficiaries of Afina Group LLC are Ruslan Shostak and Valerii Kiptyk, co-owners of the Varus and Eva retail chains.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the State Property Fund sold a state-owned stake in the Vinnytsiapobutkhim Private Joint Stock Company in the amount of 266,367 shares on August 13, which is 100% of the company's authorized capital.

The winner of the auction, AFINA-GROUP, has already transferred UAH 608.1 million to the state budget for 100% of the shares of Vinnytsiapobutkhim.

The company produces children's cosmetics and household chemicals under the Vukhastyk, Sarma, Lotus-M, Max, Pride and Polar Shine trademarks.
