The launch of the automated system has already allowed to collect more than UAH 100 million of tax debt from legal entities.
The acting head of the State Tax Service Lesia Karnaukh has stated this in an interview with LIGA.net, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
This amount of tax debt has been collected from more than 2,000 companies.
Lesia Karnaukh said that it is an automatic collection of tax debt from legal entities using electronic payment instructions.
This tool is envisaged by the National Revenue Strategy and has been operating for only two months, but it already shows a stable positive trend.
"Before the launch of this system, for example, the tax debt was accounted for by the enterprise. We used to send a paper payment instruction to the bank where the debtor had an account to collect it. And the story would begin: there were no funds, or other difficulties," said Lesia Karnaukh.
The new system completely changes the approach - now everything is automatic and transparent.
"Everything is generated, formed, and connected. A button is pressed, and it goes through the treasury to the financial institution. It is in the account - it was collected," the acting head of the State Tax Service emphasized.
The new system minimizes the human factor, speeds up the process and increases the effectiveness of the fight against tax arrears gambling business increased tax payments by 0.2% to UAH 14.6 billion in 10 months.
