Fifteen people were evacuated from the village of Plauru in Tulcea County, Romania, due to the attack by the aggressor country russia on the city of Izmail, Odesa Region, which resulted in the fire of a liquefied natural gas ship. Euronews reported this on Monday, November 17.

After the attack by a russian drone, a ship loaded with liquefied natural gas near Izmail in Ukraine caught fire. According to preliminary information, the evacuation of residents from Plauru was requested by the Ukrainian side, as the LPG load could cause an explosion with devastating consequences on both sides of the border.

"The Turkish-flagged vessel ORINDA, carrying 16 Turkish crew members, was struck during an evacuation in the port of Izmail, Ukraine, and caught fire. The crew safely evacuated the ship. There were no casualties. Firefighters are extinguishing the fire on board," the Directorate General for Maritime Affairs of the Turkish government said.
