Occupiers shot three captured AFU servicemen in Zaporizhzhia Region

Soldiers of the army of the aggressor country of russia shot three captured servicemen of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. This happened in the Huliaipole Axis in the Zaporizhzhia region.

The Zaporizhzhia regional prosecutor's office reported this today, November 16.

On Saturday, November 15, a video was published online in which soldiers of the occupation army shoot three servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They were captives and unarmed.

According to the investigation, the incident occurred on Friday, November 14, in the Huliaipole Axis, where active hostilities are ongoing.

"The murder of prisoners of war is a gross violation of the Geneva Conventions and qualifies as a grave international crime," the prosecutor's office reminded.

The department added that criminal proceedings were initiated under Part 2 of Art. 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in June of this year, three soldiers of the russian army were reported on suspicion of committing war crimes in the Kyiv Region in 2022.

We also wrote that in the Donetsk Region, soldiers of the russian army raped a woman in one of the occupied settlements.
