In Odesa Region, SPP and other facilities damaged as result of russian strike, power outage in district reported

Russian troops continue to target civilian infrastructure in the southern part of the Odesa Region. On the night of November 16, the enemy attacked the region again. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.

It is noted that there is a power outage in the region due to russian strikes.

"This night, the enemy again struck power facilities in the Odesa Region. There is a power outage in the region. Rescuers from the State Emergency Service and the energy sector have already begun restoration work," the ministry said in a statement.

Also, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, noted that a solar power plant was damaged in the Odesa Region as a result of the strike.

"The enemy continues to purposefully strike at the civilian infrastructure of the south of the Odesa Region. Despite the active work of the air defense, this night, strike drones again damaged energy facilities, including a solar power plant. The fires that arose were promptly extinguished by the State Emergency Service units. Fortunately, there were no casualties," he said.

We will remind, on the night of November 14, the russian federation launched a combined strike on critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine using 430 strike UAVs (about 300 - Shaheds) and 19 missiles (13 of them - ballistic). The Air Force shot down 405 drones and 14 missiles.

Also, on the morning of November 14, russian invaders attacked the local market in Chornomorsk (Odesa Region) with strike drones, currently two deaths are known.
