In Kyiv, a rescuer of the State Emergency Service who arrived at the scene of the night attack by russia on November 14 was forced to extinguish a fire in his own apartment. The apartment was completely burned down after a direct hit from an enemy drone.

The Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko has announced this.

35-year-old Serhii Vlasenko, who has been working in the service for 15 years, was on duty that night. During the massive attack, a drone hit a residential building where his family lived - his mother, wife, 5-year-old son and 8-month-old daughter. They ran for cover in time after the air raid alarm, which saved their lives.

When the rescuers arrived, Serhii saw that his own apartment was on fire. The flames completely destroyed his home.

According to the minister, the family has already received the keys to the service housing.

As a reminder, at night, russia launched a combined attack on Ukraine's critical infrastructure using 430 attack UAVs (about 300 were Shaheds) and 19 missiles (13 of them were ballistic missiles). The Air Forces shot down 405 drones and 14 missiles.

During the day, rescuers pulled out a sixth victim from the rubble in a 9-storey building in Kyiv's Desnianskyi District.
