On the night of Friday, November 14, the military of the aggressor country russia fired about 430 drones and 18 missiles, including ballistic and aerial missiles, at the territory of Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reported this on his Telegram channel.
"Our emergency services have been working at the sites of Russian strikes since night. A vile shelling. As of now, we already know about dozens of wounded people, including children and a pregnant woman. Unfortunately, four people were killed. My condolences to the families and friends. About 430 drones and 18 missiles were involved in the attack, including ballistics and aerial ballistics," Zelenskyy wrote.
The President added that it was a specially calculated attack to harm people and civilian infrastructure as much as possible.
"In Kyiv alone, there are dozens of high-rise buildings destroyed. The Embassy of Azerbaijan was damaged by Iskander fragments. The main direction of the attack is Kyiv, the Kyiv, Kharkiv and Odesa Regions were also hit. According to preliminary data, in the morning the Russians used a Zircon missile in the Sumy region," he said.
Zelenskyy also said that Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko reported on the progress of rescue operations on the ground. He also said that Air Forces Commander Anatolii Kryvonozhko reported on the results of air defense operations.
"Ukraine responds to these attacks with long-range power, and the world must stop these attacks against life with sanctions. Russia can still sell oil and build its schemes. This must be stopped. A lot of work is being done with partners to strengthen air defense, but not enough. We need additional systems and interceptor missiles. Europe and the United States can help. We are counting on real solutions. I thank everyone who helps," the President summarized.
