The aggressor country russia has once again launched missile and drone strikes against energy facilities in several regions. As a result, a significant number of consumers in the Donetsk, Kyiv, and Odesa Regions are without power this morning. It was reported by Ukrenergo.
"Emergency repair works are underway in each of the affected regions. Power engineers are doing everything possible to eliminate the consequences of the damage caused by the enemy as soon as possible and to supply power to all de-energized consumers," the statement said.
Because of the consequences of previous russian attacks, hourly blackouts with 2 to 4 rounds (with maximum restrictions in the evening) will be in effect in most regions until the end of the day. Schedules of power restrictions for industrial consumers and businesses are also in effect.
Consumption
Electricity consumption is showing a downward trend. The reason is clear weather in most regions. This leads to the efficient operation of household solar power plants and a corresponding decrease in energy consumption from the general grid.
Till the end of the day, there is still a need for economical energy consumption.
"Please limit the use of powerful electrical appliances. Taking into account the weather conditions, postpone energy-intensive processes today to the period of the most efficient operation of solar power plants - from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Or at night, when the load on the power system is the lowest - after 10:00 p.m. Saving electricity consumption will help to reduce the duration of forced outages," the power engineers added.
As a reminder, at night, russians attacked the Odesa Region with drones. The energy sector facility was damaged, as well as civilian objects.
