The aggressor country russia has officially created a new type of troops - unmanned systems, for which it has copied successful solutions from Ukraine.
Andrii Kovalenko, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council, announced this on his Telegram channel on Wednesday, November 12.
Kovalenko noted that the russians not only copied Ukrainian solutions, but also train specialists at the universities of the Ministry of Defense, in military training centers at civilian universities and more.
"They copied our successful solutions. It was we who created the companies of strike UAVs, which in 2023 allowed us to have an advantage over the enemy. And now the UAVs are working very effectively. But the Russians are copying and trying to scale our innovations in numbers. This is a threat, of course," Kovalenko wrote.
According to him, Ukraine is currently ahead of the enemy in the development of ground robotic systems, but NATO's European armies are lagging behind.
