Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Minister of Justice and the Minister of Energy should be dismissed and asked the Prime Minister to submit their resignations immediately. He said this in his message on Telegram.

"I believe that the Minister of Justice and the Minister of Energy cannot remain in office. This is a matter of trust, among other things. If there are accusations, they must be answered. The decision to remove them from office is the fastest and most expeditious one. I have asked the Prime Minister of Ukraine to receive resignations from these ministers. I am asking the members of the Verkhovna Rada to support these statements. And then everything has to be resolved in the legal plane," the President said in his address.

The President also announced the NSDC sanctions against two defendants in the Energoatom case.

"It is extremely difficult for everyone in Ukraine now. We are going through power outages, Russian attacks, losses. It is absolutely abnormal that there are still some schemes in the energy sector," Zelenskyy added.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on November 10, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) announced that they were conducting a large-scale operation to expose corruption in the energy sector.

Also, on November 10, NABU detectives searched the homes of a businessman, co-owner of the Kvartal 95 studio Tymur Mindich, Herman Halushchenko and Energoatom.

MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak (Holos) said that he submitted a petition to the Verkhovna Rada to dismiss Herman Halushchenko from the post of Minister of Justice, as well as a resolution to dismiss Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk.

The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine confirmed that investigative actions were carried out with the participation of Herman Halushchenko within the framework of criminal proceedings, but declined to discuss details.
