Air defense centers will be established in the Chernihiv, Poltava and Zaporizhzhia Regions. Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal has announced this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"We are strengthening the Ukrainian air shield to effectively counter Russian terror. I visited the Air Defense Coordination Center of the Kharkiv Region, where I held a meeting on the creation of such air defense centers in the Chernihiv, Poltava and Zaporizhzhia Regions. A number of decisions were made at the meeting," he said.

Shmyhal noted that the coordination center in the Kharkiv Region has shown high efficiency.

"We will scale this experience to other regions, which will allow us to respond quickly to threats, coordinate actions between all forces involved in countering air attacks, and ensure maximum protection of critical infrastructure and civilians," he said.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on November 11, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, that the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will increase their capabilities to protect Kherson from the strikes of the army of the aggressor country russia.
