During the last day, russian troops attacked energy facilities in several regions. Emergency repair and restoration works continue wherever the security situation allows. The press service of Ukrenergo has reported this.
"Due to the consequences of previous Russian massive missile and drone attacks, consumption restrictions are currently being applied in most regions of Ukraine. Until the end of the day, hourly outage schedules with 2 to 4 rounds will be in effect. In all regions where hourly blackouts are applied, there are also schedules of power restrictions for industry and business," the statement said.
Electricity consumption remains high.
"There is still a need for economical energy consumption. Please limit the use of powerful electrical appliances today, transfer energy-intensive processes to nighttime, when the load on the power system is the lowest. Saving electricity consumption by each consumer will help to reduce the duration of forced outages," the power engineers added.
As a reminder, due to the power outage in Kyiv, changes in the operation of trams, trolleybuses and funiculars are possible.
