Today, November 11, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the facilities of the Orsknefteorgsintez oil refinery in the Orenburg Oblast of the russian federation, which is involved in providing supplies to the russian occupation army.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"As part of reducing the enemy's offensive potential and complicating the supply of fuel and ammunition to the military units of the occupiers, on November 11, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the facilities of the Orsknefteorgsintez oil refinery in the Orenburg Oblast of the russian federation," the message says.
The General Staff reported that explosions and a fire were recorded on the territory of the facility. According to preliminary information, one of the primary oil processing units was hit. The results of the hit are being clarified.
It is noted that the plant produces more than 30 types of oil products - gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, oils, etc. The design processing capacity is 6.6 million tons of oil per year. The plant is involved in supplying the russian occupation army.
We will remind, also on the night of November 11, drones attacked the Saratov Oil Refinery. The drone strike caused a large-scale fire at the facility, which is part of the Rosneft oil company.
