Today, on November 9, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed new decisions on sanctions. He called them "special". The head of state announced this on his Telegram channel.
"Today's sanctions decisions of Ukraine include persons working in Putin's government structures and involved in the robbery in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, one of his "wallets", a functionary of Russian military intelligence and one of his collaborators. We are also starting to work on Russian publishing houses that work to justify aggression and spread Russian propaganda around the world. Everything in Russia that is focused on war must be blocked," the President wrote.
He emphasized that the aggressor country russia is trying to drag out the war, expanding its attempts to justify aggression and "normalize" the occupation of Ukrainian territories.
"Also recently, Russia has made a demonstrative political decision to impose "sanctions" against Ukrainian officials, including the Prime Minister of Ukraine. This behavior of Russia deserves much greater pressure from the world and the expansion of the boundaries of this pressure - both against all sources and schemes of financing the Russian military machine, and against every person who spreads propaganda and complicates decision-making aimed at achieving real peace," Zelenskyy said.
The President added that Ukraine would submit its proposals for new sanctions to the relevant partners.
