There will be no electricity for more than 10 hours. Schedules of power outages will be in effect in Ukraine on November 9

Due to the difficult situation in the power system caused by massive russian shelling, today in Ukraine measures to restrict electricity supply will be forced to be extended until the end of the day.

It was reported by NPC Ukrenergo.

"Due to the difficult situation in the power system caused by Russian shelling, today the restriction measures will be forced to be applied until the end of the day," the company said in a statement.

According to Ukrenergo, on November 9, the following modes will be in effect in most regions of Ukraine:

  • Hourly outage schedules - from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., in the amount of 2 to 4 queues;
  • Capacity limitation schedules - from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. for industrial consumers.

"Attention! The time and scope of the restrictions may change. Follow the information on the official pages of the regional power distribution companies in your region," Ukrenergo noted.

Meanwhile, DTEK has published blackout schedules for Kyiv:

The company also urged citizens to use electricity sparingly, especially during peak hours: "When electricity is available on schedule, please use it sparingly!"

As a reminder, the russian combined attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure on the night of November 8 damaged several large power facilities - in the Poltava, Kharkiv and Kyiv Regions.
