Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has said that the United States will make an exception for Budapest and allow it to import russian oil.
Orban's words were quoted by the Telex portal.
According to him, this concerns the import of russian oil through the Druzhba and Turkish Stream pipelines
"Hungary will continue to have the lowest energy prices. In the case of the Turkish Stream and the Druzhba pipeline, they have been granted immunity from sanctions. This is a general and indefinite exception," the Hungarian prime minister said.
In addition, Orbán continued, the United States allegedly lifted sanctions on the construction of the Paks-2 nuclear power plant, in which russia is involved.
