Fires recorded in center of Kyiv due to enemy attack - Kyiv City Military Administration Head Tkachenko

In the Pecherskyi District of Kyiv, according to the city military administration, fires were reported due to an enemy attack.

The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Tymur Tkachenko has said this on social networks.

"In the Pecherskyi District, we are recording a fire as a result of the attack. We are clarifying the details," the official said.

Later, Tkachenko said that cars caught fire at two locations in the Pecherskyi District.

Later, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko stated that the fire was extinguished.

Before that, the authorities and representatives of the security forces said that on the night of November 8, air defense units were working on enemy targets in the capital and the Kyiv Region.

In addition to Kyiv, hostile attacks also affected Dnipro and several districts of the region.

In Dnipro, a drone hit a high-rise building, causing a fire, and according to preliminary data, one person was killed and ten were injured, including two children. The State Emergency Service has informed about this.

In other districts of the Dnipropetrovsk Region, private houses were set on fire and explosions were recorded.
