The aggressor country russia has unleashed a new wave of militarization in the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) of Ukraine - from educational institutions to local administrations. This is stated in a report by the National Resistance Center.

Thus, according to the National Resistance Center, the occupiers combine "patriotic" events in universities with hidden mobilization schemes, trying to fill the shortage of manpower for the war against Ukraine.

It is noted that in the TOT of the Kherson Region, the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation organized another "lesson of courage" at the local agrarian university. A "military correspondent of the newspaper Krasnaya Zvezda", a "veteran of the Armed Forces of Ukraine" and the sister of a deceased russian soldier were invited to the meeting.

The organizer of the event, deputy head of the regional branch of the foundation, Alena Izmayeva, said that similar meetings are held "in all educational institutions of the region." Analysts of the National Resistance Centernote that this is part of a systematic campaign to militarize young people, especially after the kremlin passed a law on "year-round mobilization."

According to the National Resistance Center informants, during such "lessons", representatives of the occupation structures work purposefully with students of military age. They are offered to take an academic leave or leave their studies early in order to "sign a contract and prove their patriotism in practice." There have also been cases where university administrations have submitted lists of students to military enlistment offices "to participate in youth initiatives" that are actually used for recruitment.

At the same time, on the Crimean peninsula, the russian authorities have changed their approach to recruiting contract soldiers. According to the data of the Krym.Realii publication, the occupiers have abandoned public advertising of the service - banners, videos and outdoor campaigning have disappeared. Instead, recruitment is carried out "targeted": postmen and representatives of local administrations are forced to distribute mobilization brochures and conduct individual "conversations" with men who are on internal "lists of potential contractors."

In general, universities, schools and administrations in the TOT are turning into centers of military propaganda. This is a coordinated strategy: first, to impose the cult of war, then to offer to "prove loyalty" with weapons.

Such practices have already been recorded in the Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Luhansk Regions and in Crimea. The Center emphasizes that under the guise of "patriotic education" russia is preparing young people for war, using educational institutions and civilian infrastructure as a tool for covert mobilization.
