Russia strikes Zaporizhzhia, houses and kindergarten damaged

Around midnight, the enemy attacked the Zaporizhzhia Region. Explosions were heard in the region as a result of the strike carried out by russian troops. This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov in Telegram.

One of the districts of Zaporizhzhia suffered destruction after a night attack: the blast wave broke out windows in several high-rise buildings, and a kindergarten was also damaged.

Initially, there were no casualties. Rescuers and municipal services are working at the scene to eliminate the consequences of the strike. Residents are urged not to ignore air raid sirens and to stay in shelters during the threat of shelling.

The attack took place after the Air Force and the head of the Regional Military Administration warned about the possibility of using russian guided aerial bombs and attack drones on the territory of Zaporizhzhia and the region.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, MP Maryana Bezuhla stated that the russian occupiers are making their way towards Zaporizhzhia and bypassing the entire southern defense line through the Dnipropetrovsk Region, where nothing has been prepared to contain them.

On October 30, Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district were attacked by russians for several hours, more than 10 people are known to have been injured, including children, and a hostel was hit.

At night, russian troops carried out nine strikes with kamikaze drones on the territory of Zaporizhzhia. The attack damaged high-rise buildings, private houses, and burned cars.
