2595 people are underground. Russian strike de-energizes 8 mines in Dnipropetrovsk Region

Russian terrorist troops struck the Dnipropetrovsk Region, causing a power outage in eight mines. As many as 2,595 miners were trapped underground and are still being rescued. This is stated in a report by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine on Thursday, November 6.

The russian strike cut off power to eight mines in the Dnipropetrovsk Region with 2,595 miners underground. According to preliminary information, there were no fatalities or injuries. Rescuers and mine personnel promptly organized the removal of people to the surface.

"Russia continues its energy terror. Another strike has jeopardized the lives of thousands of miners. Russia continues to fight civilians. The tactics of the Russians are clear - to leave Ukrainians without electricity and heat in winter," said Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk.
