A suspected oil spill has occurred in the Black Sea after Ukrainian drones attacked an oil terminal in the russian city of Tuapse. It was reported by BBC News.
Journalists analyzed videos posted online last weekend showing a drone attack on a russian seaport. They confirm that the video was filmed in Tuapse, looking at the buildings in the foreground and comparing them to images on Google and Yandex maps.
In addition, the FIRMS service of the American NASA agency recorded several heat signatures in the port area. This indicates fires that occurred after the drone attack.
A satellite image taken on November 2 showed what looks like an oil spill. The stain stretches for about 3.6 kilometers and originates from the oil terminal in Tuapse.
