On the evening of November 3, three districts of the Kursk Oblast of russia - Rylsky, Glushkovsky and Korenevsky - were left without power as a result of an attack on a power substation. The governor of the region, Alexander Khinshtein, has announced this.
According to him, "an emergency power outage occurred in the city of Rylsk as a result of an enemy strike on a substation. More than 16,000 consumers in Rylsky, Glushkovsky and Korenevsky districts were left without electricity."
Alexander Khinshtein added that power engineers will soon start restoration work.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of November 2, russia again suffered a massive drone attack. Residents of several regions of the russian federation, including Kursk, Oryol, and the Krasnodar Krai, as well as from occupied Alchevsk in the Luhansk Region, reported explosions and air defense activity. Around midnight, explosions were heard in Tuapse, Krasnodar Krai. Regional authorities confirmed the attack and reported "damage to the port infrastructure followed by a fire."
