In October, the intensity of hostilities at the frontline remained extremely high, with the number of recorded clashes increasing compared to September. It was reported by the Ministry of Defense.
During this period, more than 5,000 combat clashes and almost 140,000 artillery attacks were recorded. In addition, there was a significant increase in the activity of enemy aircraft.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 5,480 combat clashes took place in October. During the month, their number repeatedly exceeded 200 daily. The highest number of clashes was on October 9 - 245.
Also, in October, the enemy carried out almost 140,000 artillery attacks, including 3,353 from multiple launch rocket systems.
