The Security Service of Ukraine's Alpha special forces conducted a series of precision attacks on enemy positions in the temporarily occupied territories. The places of accumulation of equipment and personnel used for logistics and distribution of enemy forces were hit. This became known from the official Telegram channel of the SSU.
"The night strikes were carried out using FP-2 unmanned aerial vehicles with 105 kg warheads, which ensured the high efficiency of the operation. The Security Service of Ukraine continues to use all available means to neutralize the enemy and reminds: we will destroy it anywhere!" the agency said.
A new FP-2 strike drone designed to hit frontline targets was presented in early September by Ukrainian company Fire Point.
The FP-2 is similar in design to its predecessor, the long-range FP-1, which Ukrainian soldiers are already using to strike targets in the russian rear. However, the range of the new drone is 200 kilometers, not 1400, as in its predecessor. And the warhead has been increased to 105 kilograms.
The new strike drone is available in two versions: with autonomous guidance for hitting stationary targets and with manual control by the operator via radio channel for working on moving objects.
