Russian drone attack in Sumy Region injures 11 people, including children

Eleven people were injured in a drone attack in the Sumy Region, including four children. It was reported by the State Emergency Service on Telegram.

It is noted that the russian federation struck at the residential infrastructure in Sumy, a fire broke out in a multi-storey building.

"Sumy: last night Russia carried out a series of strikes on the residential sector and infrastructure. 11 people were injured, including four children," the statement said.

The State Emergency Service said that a direct hit on a nine-story residential building caused five apartments and seven balconies on the upper levels to catch fire.

Also, in the private sector, two commercial buildings caught fire, and a one-story building with five apartments was damaged by the blast wave.

The biggest destruction and large-scale fires occurred at the infrastructure facility. As of now, the fires have been extinguished.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, russia massively attacked Sumy with drones, there are hits to residential buildings.
