Ukrposhta has signed a memorandum with the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the creation of a unified system for the transfer of personal belongings and documents to the families of the military.
The head of the company, Ihor Smelianskyi, announced this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The report says that the delivery will be free of charge - to the most remote corners of Ukraine, including the frontline and de-occupied territories.
"Every day we must thank, remember and honor those who make it possible for us to live, create, love, argue - and even discuss whether it is worth stopping every day at 9 a.m.," Smelianskyi wrote.
He added that memory is an action, and the most important action today is to support the families of our dead and missing, just when it is most difficult for them.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Ukrposhta has expanded its "Small PRIME package" service to 12 more countries (currently, PRIME delivery covers 86 countries), which will allow Ukrainians to save up to 30% on delivery.
