An explosion occurred during the inspection of one of the parcels at the Ukrposhta sorting center in the Solomyanskyi district of Kyiv. Five injured were hospitalized. This was reported by the mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, and the Kyiv Police on Thursday, October 30.
According to preliminary information, the explosion occurred during the inspection of one of the parcels at the Ukrposhta branch. As a result, five employees were injured and required hospitalization.

The Kyiv police are establishing the circumstances of the explosion in the post office in the Solomyanskyi district of the capital. Currently, an investigative and operational group, explosives technicians from the police headquarters, and medics are working at the scene.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, an explosion occurred on October 8 in the Sviatoshynskyi district of Kyiv.
