Court seizes funds of Tedis Ukraine LLC in amount of UAH 548 million at request of AMCU

On October 28, 2025, the South-Western Appeal Economic Court fully satisfied the application of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) to secure the claim and seized the funds of Tedis Ukraine LLC, which are in bank accounts, within the amount of the claim, i.e. in the amount of UAH 548 million.

This is stated in the AMCU's message, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

As previously reported by the AMCU, on August 3, 2023, the Supreme Court refused to satisfy the cassation appeal of Tedis Ukraine LLC in the case of appealing the Committee's decision of March 17, 2021 No. 151-r. By the aforementioned decision, the company was fined UAH 274 million for not fully complying with another decision of the Committee No. 551-r dated December 16, 2016.

Despite the decision of the Supreme Court, which confirmed the obligation of Tedis Ukraine LLC to pay a fine of UAH 274 million, the aforementioned decision was not complied with, therefore, in September 2023, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine filed a lawsuit with the Economic Court of the Odesa Region to recover a fine of UAH 274 million and a penalty of UAH 274 million.

By the decision of the Economic Court of the Odesa Region dated September 10, 2025, the claims of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine were satisfied in full, but Tedis Ukraine LLC appealed it in the appeal procedure.

In connection with this, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine filed an application to seize the accounts of Tedis Ukraine LLC for a total amount of UAH 548 million.

After the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine receives a resolution to secure the claim, it will be sent for immediate execution to the enforcement bodies of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine in accordance with the procedure established by current legislation.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in early 2021, the Supreme Court, consisting of a panel of judges of the Cassation Economic Court, canceled the fine of UAH 3.4 billion imposed by the Antimonopoly Committee on the distribution company Tedis Ukraine (formerly Megapolis-Ukraine) for anti-competitive concerted actions.
