In Mykolaiv Region, part of region cut off from power due to russian strikes, number of trains delayed

As a result of russian shelling and damage to the energy infrastructure in the Mykolaiv Region, there have been power outages, which has caused delays in passenger train traffic.

This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.

"As a result of enemy shelling, we have a power outage in the Mykolaiv Region. Reserve diesel locomotives have already been launched, passenger trains in the region will run with delays," the company noted.

The delays concern the following flights:

  • No. 53 Dnipro - Odesa.

Ukrzaliznytsia reminded that in case of damage to power grids due to shelling, they use reserve traction, combined transportation and bypass routes to ensure the delivery of passengers.

"We are doing everything possible to ensure that passengers reach their destinations, including in difficult conditions due to shelling," the press service emphasized.

On October 24, due to massive attacks in several regions of Ukraine, train traffic was also complicated. At that time, power outages were recorded in the territories of the Kirovohrad, Kharkiv and Sumy Regions.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of October 30, the russian federation carried out a massive combined attack on Ukraine, launching missiles of all types and strike UAVs.
