Number of BankID identifications increased by 17% to 27.7 million in Q3

In the third quarter of 2025, 27.7 million successful identifications were made through the system, which is 17% more than in the previous quarter.

This is evidenced by the data of the NBU, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The growth was due to an increase in the number of successful electronic identifications among

- non-commercial subscribers - by 18%;

- commercial subscribers.

For non-commercial subscribers, the largest share of identifications in the third quarter was on government online portals, in particular:

- 17.6 million identifications (64% of the total) - through ID.GOV.UA. This is 20% more than in the second quarter of this year. Among them, 6.2 million were used to receive services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (+56%), 3.9 million - services of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (+26%), 2.5 million - to sign petitions and appeals to the authorities;

- 5.5 million identifications in the Reserve+ mobile application (+18%);

- 2.6 million in the Diia app (+10%).

The number of transactions in the Mriia educational app also increased 10 times and amounted to 91,000 identifications in the third quarter.

In the third quarter of 2025, new service providers joined the system, including:

- a service that provides employees with access to actually earned funds (salary on demand);

- a service for publishing ads for renting or selling their own real estate;

- a financial company for online lending.

As of the end of September 2025, the NBU BankID System united 39 identifier banks and 108 service provider subscribers.

The goal of the changes is to make participation in the system more attractive for new business segments and to promote the creation of new digital products.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in the first half of 2025, users made 50.8 million successful electronic identifications using the NBU's BankID system (in particular, 23.6 million in Q2 2025), which is 12.4 million, or 32% more than in the same period in 2024.

The NBU's BankID system is a national system of remote electronic identification and verification of users through banks, which allows users to confirm their identity electronically and receive public, financial and other services remotely.
