Starting today, October 29, Kyiv will start turning on the heating in its housing stock. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced this on his Telegram channel.
The decision was made taking into account, among other things, weather conditions.
"On October 29, Kyiv will start the heating season in the housing stock. In the issue of the start of the heating season, the city took into account key factors - weather conditions, rational use of fuel, ensuring sanitary temperature parameters in buildings and reducing the load on the power grid," the mayor wrote.
He recalled that the deployment of the heat supply system technologically requires up to 7 days.
The heating season in hospitals, schools, kindergartens and other social institutions began on October 3.
As a reminder, the heating season has started in Ukraine, and 13 regions have already started gradually connecting heat supply to residential buildings.
