The worst situation with electricity supply due to russian attacks on the energy sector is currently in the city of Shostka, Sumy Region. This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Thus, the President reported on the progress of eliminating the consequences of strikes on energy facilities and emphasized that the most difficult situation with electricity supply is currently observed in the Sumy region.
"In principle, everything is being restored everywhere. In the Sumy Region, in Shostka, the most difficult situation. Heating of social institutions in some communities has already begun, but officially heating should be from the 28th," the head of state noted.
We will remind, on October 14, an analyst at the Kyiv School of Economics Natalia Rybalko spoke about the difficult situation in Shostka, Sumy Region, where there has been no stable electricity supply for more than a week after russian shelling. According to her, the official electricity supply schedules do not correspond to reality, and residents of the central part of the city remain without electricity.
On October 6, power supply was temporarily cut off in Shostka (Sumy Region) due to work to eliminate the consequences of russian shelling.
On October 27, it became known that the Sumy community was left without electricity due to russian shelling. Restoration work is continuing in an intensified mode.
