The Energoatom national nuclear power generating company has launched all nine controlled nuclear power units after repairs.
Former Energy Minister Olha Buslavets announced this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"All 9 power units of nuclear power plants located in unoccupied territories are operating in the energy system of Ukraine. Today, the last 9th power unit was included after scheduled repairs," Buslavets wrote.
She also noted that the production of electricity at hydroelectric power plants is significantly limited by available capacities and water resources.
And the production of electricity at TPPs and CHPPs has decreased against the backdrop of attacks on energy infrastructure and its destruction.
Electricity production from RES (renewable energy sources) is seasonal and depends on cloudiness.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, hourly power outage schedules are in effect in a number of regions of Ukraine today, October 27.
Due to the difficult situation in the power system caused by the consequences of previous russian shelling, hourly power outage schedules ranging from 1 to 2.5 shifts have been forcedly introduced in several regions of Ukraine.
