EU remains the third largest trading partner of RF - Bild

Despite the sanctions imposed, the European Union has become the third largest trading partner of the russian federation in 2024 - the volume of trade between the parties is EUR 67.5 billion. This is reported by the newspaper Bild.

The leader on the list is China. In 2024, the volume of trade between the two countries reached about USD 244.8 billion. A significant part of this amount, USD 130 billion, is the import of russian goods to China, primarily oil, gas and coal.

India came in second place. This is a massive jump, since at the beginning of the full-scale war, India was only 12th in the list of russia's most important trading partners.
